I am saddened by the loss of Mom Woo. I have many fond memories of her through the years, but the one that stays with me the most is her telling me how to make prime rib. I was at the yearly Christmas party many years ago and Mom Woo was dressed for success as usual sitting at what I called her welcoming table with a glass of wine. I greeted and hugged her and told her I wanted to learn how to make prime rib. Well, she took me through the whole process of seasoning for the crust (make sure it’s Kroger hamburger seasoning), and the fixings for the aujus including merlot. I tell you I was drooling by the time she was finished! I also make her recipe to this day and always will. I toast and think of her every time I do! She was truly one of a kind with many creative talents and will be missed by all. Rest easy Mom Woo!

Mama Woo...you will be missed!! I can always remember her sitting at the table in the kitchen during the annual Christmas party with a smile on her face and a glass of spirits in her hand. I am glad I had the opportunity to get to know her.

What a presence she had and what a hoot she was. I knew Janice as always a delight, always dressed to a tee, always sharp in wit, always loving, always there for a hand held out to hold with a I remember you greeting and always with a smile that transcended the underlying mischievous (that I loved), of slyly obtaining another glass of wine. Her enormous presence always added that one extra light needed at each party and to everyone she encountered in this wonderful gift we've been given called life.

Janice was my friend and “other Mother”. Always there when I needed a shoulder and never hesitated to give me a kick in the butt if I needed it. From our shopping trips in Sarasota to our chats on the patio on Hilton Head I have so many wonderful memories and they all make me smile. Thank you Janice.

I always looked forward to seeing her at her daughters Christmas Party. She would take her place at the kitchen table, greeting all guest that entered. You were always guaranteed laughter and a smile. She will be missed on earth. However, heaven needs to be ready for a party.

I have one particular memory of Janice at one of Debbie and Brenda’s Christmas parties. She wasn’t supposed to have any wine because of meds she was on. I didn’t know this. So when she asked me to get her a glass, I headed to the wine. Brenda caught me and set me straight. She gave me a wine glass with sparkling water. Janice took a sip and said “ Do they think they’re fooling me?”
I loved it but just pretended I didn’t know a thing. Such a quick wit , acute intelligence, and a beautiful smile. We should all be so blessed.
