Obituary of Elaine Dorothy Fox

Elaine Dorothy Fox, 80, of Columbia, SC left her earthly body to be with our Lord on September 13, 2022. 

Elaine was born December 8, 1941 in Huron, South Dakota, to parents James and Nora Bishop. She spent her early years living and working on the family farm.  After graduating from high school, Elaine married and moved to Minnesota to begin her career and start a family.  Elaine discovered her passion for the legal field and armed with an unstoppable work ethic, experience, and dedication to supporting her family, continued to serve within the judicial system for over 40 years.

In the late 80's, Elaine and her husband Chris moved to Southern California where she flourished as a member of Saddleback Church.  Her "service to others" character was felt by everyone who came in contact with her.  Simply stated, Elaine was a beautiful person filled with love - love for her family, love for California, love for laughter, love for life in general, and ultimately Love for our Lord.

Elaine is survived by her husband, Chris, her three sons, Will Sprang (Sandee), Walter Sprang (Connie), and James Sprang (Lanae), her siblings, Noel "Sonny" (Kit) Bishop and Gloria "Deedee" Kruger, and ten grandchildren.
