I worked with Rick on a daily basis for several years. He will be sorely missed at our law firm.
I was always impressed with his servant heart and we talked about his many service
projects including feeding the homeless and helping rehabilitate a person's house. He put
into action helping the "least of these."
We also enjoyed talking about his many hobbies including photography
and screen printing.
To Tori, Hunter and all his family, may you be comforted in knowing
what a fine person he was and the legacy that he leaves.
Derrick Jackson

Rest easy, Good and Faithful Servant.
Rick was always ready to lend a helping hand. In the photo is about half the turkeys Rick helped prepare and serve at Thanksgiving to those less fortunate, for people he did not even know. That is what he did; help those that needed help.

Start by doing what's necessary; then do what's possible; and suddenly you are doing the impossible. Quote by Francis of Assisi
Rick, a humble soul that endured to the end and will be sorely missed by many; let's remember his giving spirit by doing what he did; imitating Jesus, everyday!

I worked as an usher for USC home football games when I lived in Cola in 2010-2014. I had to get to games four hours early. Every game, I saw Rick, to volunteer at the Knights of Columbus stand. He always wore Athletic clothes when I saw him. And to think of it, so did I. But Rick was a real exercise enthusiast. He was the official photographer every where he went. One of my favorites was at my first attendance of Cola’s St. Patrick’s Day parade. He was setting up the group for the annual picture, which I knew nothing about. As Rick set the camera for a delayed shot, he yelled for me to come on so I could be in the picture too. I’m posting that photo. I have many good memories of Rick. I will remember him as the best kind of trusted servant.
