Obituary of Mary Lou Marks

Mary Lou Marks passed away peacefully in her sleep on December 23, 2021 at the age of 82 in Lexington, SC. She was born in Eau Claire, WI on March 20, 1939 to the late Lloyd and Victoria Cain. 

Mary Lou was an extraordinary woman. She loved her grandchildren and even moved in with them later in life. She was a fierce friend who stayed connected with many throughout the different stages of her life. Mary Lou loved the beach, her martinis, and spending time with family and friends. She spent most of her working years as a banker and later worked in retail. Those who knew Mary Lou would agree that she was hard-working, loving, giving, and a bit stubborn.

She is survived by her brother, Jim Cain; son, Keith Marks II; daughter, Cindy Fanning; 4 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter.  She is preceded in death by her brother, Jack; sister, Virginia and her ex-husband, Keith Marks Sr.  

The family will hold a private memorial service in Sarasota, FL.
